This is the first time my weight and measurements are going public. I must admit that I'm a little embarrassed but I'm sticking it out.
Measurements (at the largest part)
Waist = 36 inches
Arm = 15 inches
Bust = 44 inches
Hips = 44 inches
Leg = 28 inches
Present Weight = 224 lbs
I'm more concerned with my measurements than my weight because muscles weight more than fat.
My exercise regime is 1hr in the morning and 1hr work out in the evening. I like variation and I prefer to work out from home. So, I get all my exercise routines from Exercise TV. http://www.exercisetv.tv
They have many types of free workouts and you can do it at your own convenience. Which is fantastic for me. If you are following me, I'll suggest that you do workouts that are more suited to you. You may have been injured and you prefer to swim for an hour or you may not like working out at home and prefer a power-walk / jug in the park. That's okay with me once you push your self for the hour. Always remember to listen to your body and stay hydrated.
Nutrition is also a very important part of any weight loss plan. I would suggest that you take your own course. I have recently purchased the Cook Yourself Thin cook book and I must say its been working good thus far. The food is delicious and its quick and easy. If you are looking for long term weight loss (like me), start eating the things that you like. For example, if you like breads and pasta like I do, then eat it but substitute with bread and white pasta for whole wheat. If you like sweets like me then substitute all those sodas for 100% juice drinks.
I am not a fan of counting calories but if it can help you see a clearer image of whats going in then DO IT.
Quick Facts
3500 calories = 1 lbs
Tips.
- Get a work out buddy (It make weight loss less painful)
- Write down the reasons you want to lose weight
- Always push your self. Your I CAN is bigger than your I CAN'T.
- If you fall of the weight loss wagon, get back on. Beating yourself up for things you could have and should have done is not going to help.
- Take some me time everyday to envision yourself slim and happy. I have a saying, if you can't see yourself there, you'll never be there.
Talk to you soon!
